Sengupta Laboratory at
Harvard Medical School and MIT

An unique ecosystem

Our lab sits at the interface of HMS and MIT

We are located in Cambridge, next to MIT main campus, although we are primarily a part of the Brigham and Women's Hospital, a teaching hospital of Harvard Medical School. Harvard main campus is a mile on one direction and the Longwood (the hospitals) area is a mile and half the other direction (we have regular shuttle service to the hospital). This unique position allows us close proximity to all three campuses. We are also surrounded by a vibrant biotech and pharma industry ecosystem, with Takeda across the building and Novartis and Pfizer down the road. This area is also the favorite haunt of VCs looking for the next idea to invest. We are located in an environment that is fast paced and primed for the next big idea.
